There are so many afghan people that are suffering from hunger, moms, dads, and children are suffering. “Kabul is a city still waiting for its new life to take shape – a lot depends on the will and whims of its new Taliban masters. But it is hunger that could become the worst of Afghanistan’s many crises.” stated by Jeremy Bowen with the BBC News.

There are not enough jobs for everyone, or food. Stories about this problem made it out on September 20 of 2021. The banks are closed off to everyone. The U.S closed the banks to keep it away from the Taliban so they do not get their hands on money. Which means that for everyone living there is no work, no money, and closed banks, no money either.  “ The World Food Programme (WFP) estimates 93% of Afghans are not getting enough food to eat.

Before the Taliban seized control last month the number was 80%.” stated by Jeremy Bowen with the BBC News. So many kids are suffering. There are still many girls who do not have a good education and can not go to work. People have to go out everyday and look for jobs somewhere just so they can make money to buy food and it will not be just for them but also for their families. “Millions live in desperate poverty in a country that has received huge sums in foreign aid. The money left over that might help them, around $9bn in central bank reserves, is frozen by the Americans to keep it away from the Taliban. At dawn, hundreds of construction workers gather in one of Kabul’s open-air markets with their tools looking for a day’s work.” stated by Jeremy Bowen with the BBC News.
